European Working Conditions Survey
Carried out every five years, since 1990, this survey provides an overview of working conditions throughout Europe, as well as indicating the changes affecting the workforce and quality of work. The most recent survey included the new Member States and candidate countries took place during 2005.
The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions has commissioned Gallup to carry out the fifth edition of its European Working Conditions Survey in January-April 2010. In cooperation with Gallup-Europe, the Foundation will be interviewing some 43,000 workers in 34 European countries about different aspects of their working life such as working time, work organisation and work-related health outcomes. This will provide invaluable up to date and objective data to researchers and policy makers on quality of work in Europe and beyond in the months and years to come.
