Europe Poll Articles

In 2011 and 2012 Gallup Europe is conducting an EU-wide online survey on behalf of the Fundamental Rights Agency of the European Union (FRA), among Lesbians, Gays, Bi-Sexuals and Transgender people (LGBT), the first of its kind on such a scale. Gallup will collect comparable data on LGBT persons' experiences of hate crime and discrimination, as well as their level of awareness about their rights, alongside other issues.

On June 9-10 2011, Neli Esipova, Gallup's Global migration expert, presented a research paper on the "European Migrant Experience" based on the lastest Gallup World Poll data at the OECD Working Party on Migration.

Less than half of adults in most GCC countries report exercising frequently. Respondents in Saudi Arabia are the least likely in the region to report frequent exercise and eating a lot of fruits and vegetables.

Worldwide, adults are slightly more likely to be satisfied with the air quality where they live than the water quality. Perceptions of water quality vary more by level of human development than do perceptions of air quality.
